How to get my insurance to pay for top surgery? - kilidala - 03-22-2015

Hi,
Does anyone know of a way to get a top surgery paid (at least partially) by the insurance company? I have a New Jersey Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. Thanks.

With BCBS it's a touch and go ordeal. It also depends upon if your plan is self paid or through your employer. Some employers add Trans benefits other do not. But there are many times where something is not added and a brief discussion with HR can fix this. So it would just really depends on the situation. Then after that you would need a Dr that take BCBS that's probably the thickest part.
