If you have had surgery or know someone who has, how were your results?

What size did you come to? Is there anything you can do to get bigger results?
Is it functional? (Are you able to get an erection, can you cum, and can you pee?)
How does it look? (no pics please, just descriptions if it looks like a cis penis)
What is the surgical procedure?
Is there anything else you feel is important or interesting to pre- bottom surgery trans men?

Thank you
Joshua

I have not had metoidioplasty, but may be able to help.

With the "Full Metoidioplasty" procedure, it has been suggested that patients can gain up to 50% extra growth. (So, 2" pre-op + 50% = 3" post-op.) Topical DHT cream will help some guys gain inches, but not all, it's genetic.

Many who have had metoidioplasty can stand-to-pee. (Some cannot due to shorter length, and either use a device or sit.)

You can read about sexual satisfaction with meta here.

There are a few different types of metoidioplasty. You can read about them here.

This book is highly recommended.

Hope this helps!

Who has had medioplasty with total vaginectomy and urethral lengthening? I'm going for my consultation with Dr. Crane in San francisco and would like to know if anybody else has had it with dr. Crane. How is the experience, the hospital and time of everything. Thank you Cameron

hey Cameron,
I had all the procedures done with scrotaplasty 37 days ago. dr crane is super busy right now. he's opening a clinic in Austin so surgeries are done by dr Chen. The surgery and office team are great super supportive. I went home the same day of the surgery. I'm really eager to share my experiences with anyone!

Lucas,
I'd be interested in hearing your experiences. I am planning for meta and UL. I have a consult with Dr. Bowers in Feb and Dr. Chen in March. Bowers, it appears would do both wo v-nectomy. Tho' I am okay to part with that body part, I am just stressing about another procedure at that same time. I am pretty sure that Chen (i.e. Crane) prefers to v-nectomy with meta/UL. Appreciate any insight. Thanks
Jay

Hi Jay,

just so I understand...you want a UL + meta but not sure about the v-nectomy cause of the extra stress on your body. My experience in order of difficulty was the meta, then v-nectomy, the most challenging for me was the UL. I also had a scrotoplasy which even after 2 months is not quite fully healed, still a bit uncomfortable to sit for long periods. Where do you live, Bay Area? :

Hi Jay, I haven't quite got the hang of this site yet so apologies if you got my last message and this is a repeat...yeah of course another procedure at the same is extra stress (I had a scrotoplasty too) but having it all done at the same time was worth it, for me at least. In order of ease to difficulty in healing and just general dealing with was: v-nectomy, meta, scrotplasty, UL. I had no pain per sea but a heck of lot of discomfort.

Lucas,
Appreciate the info. And, I'm starting to think it makes most sense to do everything at once, since I want those procedures. Then, I would just take the extended time to heal. Want surgery in Dec. 2016. I'm in SoCal but going north to have consult with Bowers and Crane. I might also check out surgeons too.

cool, I think there's a surgeon in Arizona? When is your consult? I rent out a couple rooms in my place and if you need a place to stay
( no charge) for your consult date just let me know
