Hi,

I have finally given up my search for topical DHT and I was thinking about whether or not applying regular topical testosterone to the clitoris might cause growth. I've been on T shots for a long time now and I am trying to get a metoidioplasty, and I would like to maximize my growth before having surgery. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge about this?

Thank you,
-Alexander

Hi Alexander,
I don't have experience with this but the general consensus is that topical T wouldn't help with growth, although I'm aware of at least one surgeon who recommended it. After one has been on T for a while, DHT becomes less effective anyway. It's best used when one has been on T for between 1 and 3 or 4 years. There is a study that showed that traction added growth for Metoidioplasty patients (the results were pretty impressive) and regular pumping may provide some limited growth (plenty of people say pumping doesn't work at all.)
Sorry I don't have a better answer!
