I am thinking about binding, but I have heard that it makes your breasts saggier. Does this affect your post-op results? While I do really want to bind, I would rather have my chest look good post-op. I could not imagine how it would affect it, when the breasts are being removed, but I want to be sure.

Binding long term can negatively affect skin elasticity, which can impact Top Surgery decisions down the road. But that shouldn't stop you from being comfortable now. The pivotal point is long term, like years of binding.

Unfortunately for me, it might take quite a while for me to get top surgery. Is there any way I can bind for longer, like if I take breaks? How long can I bind at a time to prevent too much change for top surgery?
