Actually I'm Andrew. Normally I don't give out my real name online, but "Wolfy" is generic enough of a username that it'd be hard to put two and two together unless you get to know me. =x

Anyway. I'm gay, trans, been on T for just over 5 years, extremely stressed about trying to get top surgery, and started a GoFundMe a few weeks ago that already seems to have run out of steam.
Came here via tumblr... looking for help with fundraising and ideas, and general community support.

Another thing about me: I don't like calling myself "trans" and only do it for ease of description. For me personally, I dislike that I have to prefix my maleness and masculinity with the word "trans". It implies that I'm not quite male, but something close. I'd rather be just... 100% male.
To be completely clear and not rustle any feathers, I'm speaking only for myself.

Non-trans stuff:
I like airplanes, Metal Gear Solid, exploring Seattle and surrounding areas, trying new foods, and I'm trying to get into hiking and eventually tent camping.
I have a long backlog of games I need to play and anime I need to watch or catch up on. =x

Hey Wolfy, thanks for posting!

Surgery fund raising can be tough! I'm in a similar situation. Crowdfunding can work, but generally requires that you have a large network of friends who could donate, or work pretty hard/smart at promoting the campaign. Definitely check out the crowdfunding for surgery tips here:

Every one identifies or doesn't identify with "trans" in their own ways. (And this often shifts over time/experience.)

I really like Seattle. I go every year or two to the Gender Odyssey conference. Ever been?
