Hi guys,

I just bought a pumping kit. I washed out the cylinders before using and let them air dry for a few days.

I want to know what you guys do about washing the cylinders when you are pumping twice a day. Do you wash the whole cylinder (I am worried about water getting in the pump) or do you just wash the end that you use and not the housing of the cylinder?

Edited to add; I've seen the videos but they don't explain everything. What's that nobble on the top? It comes off really easily and has a small length of something inside it. I put it back together but I don't know which way the bulging end was facing. Does it matter? (No, I still haven't tried the pump itself.)

Also, how do you get the cylinder off once you've finished? Do you just pull it off or do you reattach the pump and let the pressure down (somehow, can't see how)?

(Also what is that pink cylindrical-shaped thing that comes with the kit? There were no instructions in the kit.)
