Just over six months ago, I had double incision t-anchor as I wanted to retain nipple sensitivity and though I'm generally pleased, I now wish I had double incision with nipple graft. My surgeon, who specialized in t-anchor, I'll be seeing in September and even though he's good he doesn't perform many grafts. Any guys been in similar situation and decided to consider nipple grafting after the fact? What advice might you have for me?
Thanks

It's not clear where your dissatisfaction lays, but is it possible that a little more time may settle results?

If not, you could look at a specific revision to improve what you're not happy with (additional lipo maybe?) or go for the nipple grafts. Surgically speaking, I don't think the previous surgery complicates the creation of grafts, but I'm not certain if it necessitates a different and/or experienced approach. Nipple grafts are not necessarily complication free, but I'm not aware of any stats around graft loss.

Whichever direction you take, please post back about your experience as I'm sure others in a similar situation would find it helpful. Thanks!

Thanks Joshua, appreciate the reply. You're right more time to settle may help but I had a phone consult with my original surgeon, and after looking at my current photos, he agreed with my reaction...he was more conservative by leaving more tissue to preserve the nipple stalk (sensitivity). It might a simple lipo fix or more surgery, that decision when I see him in early Sept. I also have another consult with another surgeon who performs far more top surgeries, just to get a second opinion. I only want one more go at this to hopefully, get the outcome I want. From weight work even bef, TS my pecs are really developed so that 10%+ breast tissue hangs and just looks to odd to me and my wife agrees. I'll post updates as I pursue options.

Just wanna report back in. I had my revision with Dr. Steinwald in Golden, CO (near Denver) on Dec 8th..everything went exceptionally well. I am super pleased with the results and also he was able to cut away some of the scaring so I am certain this outcome is far better. I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering chest surgery. His staff is great, facilities awesome..Jay
