Hello, I just joined this forum because I was looking for second opinions regarding my top surgery. I am actually very unhappy with my overall results and it makes me so sad that I had it the way I did. I wish I had the T-anchor but of course it's too late...
Here, I am posting a picture to know if this is considered "dog ear" and is it fixable? I don't even know if a revision will be considered since it wasn't even my mistake.

The other side doesn't have this at all and I think this happened due to the way it was tied or something as you can see the slit in the following picture:

I just hate the way my chest looks

Dog ears are totally fixable! And revisions are very common. You will likely have to pay out of pocket for a revision but it should cost less than the original surgery.

Thank you Joshua for your reply. I just don't understand why I would have to pay for something that isn't even my fault though...

Top surgery is not an exact science and dog ears are not necessarily anyone's fault, yours or the surgeon's. There are zero guarantees with top surgery results. Your surgeon should have told you that dog ears were a possibility though, as they are common with the DI procedure. Regardless of procedure, many guys opt for revisions to improve results. Some surgeons have free revision policies. Mine did, so my revision was 100% free. Some surgeons will wave their fee and charge you just facility and anesthesiologist fees, and some surgeons have a no-free-revisions policy.

Have you spoken with your surgeon about your lack of satisfaction and their revision policy?
