Hey

Im just looking to see if anyone else has had this experience and what helped,

I started taking t about 4 years ago, during this time my levels are either to high for t and hematocrit or if my dose gets lowered it doesnt seem to work. I have tried a gel and my levels were too low so i am back on injections. I have tried 2 different types of injectables. I have also been taken off t and put back on a number of times.
Just frustrating
Thanks

Sorry to hear your frustrating situation!

Is this being managed by an endo, or by a family physician?

Have you had a hysterectomy?

It is being managed by my endo, unfortunately theyre at a loss of what to do also. I have seen three different ones in the last 5 years. I have not had a hysterectomy as of yet.

Frustrating situation. On its own, a high T level isn't necessarily bad. Have the endos been looking at that plainly as a number that's out of range and needs to be dealt with, or are there other factors that indicate that your T levels get too high for health maintenance? You mentioned high hematocrit... really high or just out of range? If it's not too high, could that be managed otherwise, like blood donation?

Have the endos also considered a different dosing regimen? (ex. Xmg every 7 days vs. every 10 days.)

What about estriadol levels?

A hysterectomy might help resolve this if it's about a battle of E vs. T.
