Dr. Joel Beck, MD, FACS is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Charlotte NC. He has been performing FTM Top Surgery since 2003, making him the most experienced surgeon the state.
Dr. Beck is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and regularly presents at some of the most popular transgender conferences in the U.S., including First Event, Southern Comfort, and Gender Odyssey.
In addition to Top Surgery, Dr. Beck also offers trans men other female-to-male surgery procedures: Male Body Sculpting, Facial Masculinization and Hair Grafting.

- Male Body Sculpting: $10,000 – $18,000

- Medical financing via CareCredit;

Surgery Requirements
- One letter from a mental health provider;
- One letter from a hormone provider, if you are using insurance to cover your Top Surgery.
- Dr. Beck will perform Top Surgery on minors with parental consent.
