Hello all! First post here, hope I’m doing this right…
I just recently got health insurance at my job, so I’m now hoping to get under the knife within the near future. I’m 5’6, pretty out of shape, weigh currently 245lb. I am planning to start meal planning/dieting/exercise very soon, and I’m going to try hard to actually stick with my goals this time. (Been trying to get in shape on and off for a while, those who know the struggle will understand…)
I know being in shape and flexibility will aide results and recovery, which is a big part of why I want to get in shape before I get surgery, however with the current political climate I’m worried if I wait it might be too late.
Does anyone know how getting top surgery then losing weight affects the results? I haven’t been able to find much online, especially when it comes to before and after photos which I would like to see if possible to get a better idea of how it turns out. If it doesn’t affect much, I might consider getting surgery asap, but if it would better to wait even with all the uncertainty in the air, I think I’d be willing to bite the bullet there and hope for the best.
Thanks for any and all responses, and if anyone has any genuine weight loss advice that would also be nice. My main problem honestly is terrible diet and over eating which I’m going to work on fixing. My job is a semi-active on my feet all day kind of job, but I still want to start working out at home too once I fix my diet and start feeling less crappy all the time. I think my terrible diet is what makes me feel so lethargic and crappy.
Thanks again guys sorry for the rambling.
