Dr. Kathy L. Rumer, DO is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and an expert in gender-affirming surgery. In addition to performing hundreds of gender-affirming procedures each year, Dr. Rumer also directs a 1-year gender surgery fellowship program.
Based in the Philadelphia area, Dr. Rumer performs at least 150 Top Surgeries a year, mostly using the Double Incision with free nipple grafts method. She also offers the following female-to-male procedures:

Wait List: Varies by procedure but typically 2-4 months.
Payment: Dr. Rumer accepts cash, credit cards, check, insurance and medical financing from multiple companies. Dr. Rumer also accepts Pennsylvania Medicaid and is an approved out-of-state Medicaid provider for Connecticut.
Requirements: Dr. Rumer is a member of WPATH and follows WPATH guidelines for surgery. You will require a medical evaluation by primary MD or MD providing hormones, and a letter of recommendation from a psychologist or other mental health professional. Top Surgery patients will also require a mammogram if they are 40 years or older, or 35 years or older if there's a family history of breast cancer.
