Hello!

I was hoping to see if there are any guys on here who are some years past having undergone a total hysterectomy and bilateral oopherectomy.

My main question is - does anyone else feel physically warm all the time?
I'm currently sitting at work and the office is at 70 but it feels like it's 80 to me.

My hysto and ooph were done in May 2015, laparascopically (sp?). The month following, I gained a solid understanding of how pregnant people feel. My emotions were all over the place and I had some night sweats and hot flashes. That all came to an end about a month after my surgery. Healing was going great. The cusp where my cervix used to be took the longest. The no sex thing was the most frustrating part of it all. haha! Wink

About 4 years ago, I started have a few days here and there where I physically felt like my body was super warm despite my skin being normal temp and not running a fever. Very close to 2 years ago, I began feeling warm regardless of where I was - indoors/outdoors. I make a point of having a small desktop fan at work and sleep with a fan pointed at me while sleeping. I generally avoid hot climates because I overheat easy. That could also have something to do with being a redhead. Who knows?

I should mention that I'm working with my PCP and endocrinologist. I've already tried lowering and stopping my T and I still got the weird warm feeling.

I have only heard one other guy say he experiences this and so I don't think it's very common at all.

I am asking because I've been looking online for other trans guys/trans masc/nb folx who might also be experiencing this weird warmth some years after surgery.

It's not bad or disruptive; I'd just like to know if others know why or what is causing this.

Thank you!
