Hi all. I'm considering forearm (after looking at results of thigh) and am deciding between Salgado, Shecter, and Crane. But I hear Crane doesn't do the phalloplasty and that microsurgeons at the Bunke Clinic do it?? That seems odd to me as they are not mentioned anywhere on his website. It makes me very hesitant so I'm leaning toward Schecter or Salgado.
For those who have seen Crane, any info on this? Yahoo msg boards speak highly of Dr. Safa but he is nowhere to be found in FTM.

I had ALT with Crane/Chen in 2014 and Im totally happy. Folks are intimidated by the ALT size initially but with some waiting and some fine tuning its not bad at all if thats what you are looking for. However, yes the bunke clinic micro surgeons have a LARGE part in making your phallus you would want microsurgeons doing such a task lol. I mean after all the purpose of having said surgery is to have sensation correct? So why would we not have a team of skilled microsurgeons inside the phallus making sure the inner workings are being connected properly while crane is making sure the urinary functions are being fine tuned. Then the phallus is finely shaped and placed by him or Chen who ever is heading the surgery. On the paper work at pre op it clearly states these things and it is nothing to really spazz nor get major anxiety about, doing so just mainly leaves you freaked out before hand and majorly makes folks do irrational things that they dont need nor have to do. Dr Safa and Dr Watt I trust with my life and if i had to do this all over again I would let the both of them just being micro surgeons build my phallus solo because thats how many of these they have done to know exactly what they are doing to to them on their own without Crane or Chen. I am not too too sure if you are apart of the group for cranes patients but if not id recommend joining and just talking with some of his RFF patients and they will definitely assure you that your doubts should be eased as they are great people and even better surgeons.
