I live in a tiny town in Illinois. There are 2500 people. 90% of these people are against transgender people. I have no car. I recently applied to 3 different jobs, but as soon as I told them I was trans, the interviews were cut short. I have a D sized chest. I can't hide it under a binder completely. I've even as far as double binding which is so dangerous. I can't live in a body that doesn't feel like my own for much longer. I've tried so hard to get to where I am, but things just pile against me. This past 6 months have been the worst of my life. To help alleviate other people's dysphoria, I gave away 2 binders free of charge to 2 guys under 18 who couldn't acquire one of their own. Even after feeling the way I do, I still don't want other guys to go through this pain alone. Please help me.

Thank you for sharing, I'm sorry to hear that you are having a rough time.

I see that you have insurance that will cover some of the costs. Have you consulted with Dr. Schechter in Chicago? His staff can do amazing things with insurance, and who knows, you may be able to get more coverage, then you wouldn't have to leave the state.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I have consulted my insurance and until I pay a $4500 deductible to the insurance company, they won't pay anything medical.
