Dr. Alexander Facque, MD is a Gender Surgeon at San Francisco's Gender Confirmation Center, where he performs Top Surgery and Body Masculinization, and has expanded their surgical offerings with his specialization in Facial Masculinization procedures. Dr. Facque is board-certified in plastic surgery and fellowship-trained in Gender Surgery. He was introduced to gender-affirming care in 2012 during his plastic surgery residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and now works exclusively with transgender and non-binary patients.
Dr. Facque performs surgeries Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and the Vista Surgery Center, a fully accredited surgery center located in the same building as the Gender Confirmation Center's office. Both facilities offer highly personalized care and have staff who are well versed in gender-affirming care.
Dr. Facque offers in-person and virtual consultations at no cost. The wait time for a consultation is about one month and the wait time for a surgery date is 4-5 months after your consultation. Please contact Dr. Facque to book your consultation.

The price is all-inclusive: pre- and post-operative appointments, surgeon's fee, operating room fees, anesthesia fee, implants and post-operative garments.

Surgery Eligibility
- To qualify for Top Surgery, you need to be in good physical health and any significant mental health concerns must be reasonably well controlled at the time of surgery.
- Testosterone hormone replacement therapy is not required to have Top Surgery.
- A support letter from a mental health provider is not required by Dr. Facque but if you're using insurance, the insurance company will require one or two letters indicating that your Top Surgery is medically required.
