Based in South Florida, Dr. Elliot Jacobs is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has been in private practice since 1977. Dr. Jacobs offers the following female-to-male surgery procedures:

With more experience in male breast reduction surgery than almost any other plastic surgeon in the United States, Dr. Jacobs is the experienced choice. While similar to the Keyhole method, his Minimal Scar Top Surgery procedure has the advantage of enabling more extensive removal of fat and breast tissue than Keyhole. Incisions are small and scarring is, as the name suggests, very minimal. The procedure is best suited to those with smaller chests and excellent skin elasticity. A staged approach to Minimal Scar Top Surgery can allow those who fall just outside these criteria to get the same great results. Double Incision, the "gold standard" method for large-chested trans men, is also an option.

Dr. Jacobs performs FTM Top Surgery at his private surgery facility. His preferred type of anesthesia is for most patients is twilight sedation, also called IV sedation. The advantage of twilight sedation is that it doesn't involve intubation and thus doesn't cause sore throat, nausea or grogginess post-operatively.

Surgery Requirements:
- A letter of recommendation from your doctor or therapist is recommended.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Mammogram required for Top Surgery patients.
- 6 months of RLE.
Financing & Fees: The cost of Minimal Scar Top Surgery with Dr. Jacobs is $9000 without nipple reduction and $11,000 with nipple reduction. For Double Incision, the cost is $16,000. Pricing includes surgeon fees, anesthesia, operating room fees, garments, all follow up care, plus revision (if indicated) surgical fee within the first year. Dr. Jacobs accepts cash, credit cards and medical financing via CareCredit and Alpheon. Dr. Jacobs does not accept Medicare, Medicaid or insurance, though an insurance claim can be submitted after surgery on your behalf.
