IT IS NOT COMMON HERE IN JAPAN (CURRENTLY IM LIVING) PLUS IT IS EXPENSIVE HERE. FTM FOLKS HERE GOES TO THAILAND TO HAVE THEIR TOP SURGERY. BUT UNFORTUNATELY,6,000$ IS EXPENSIVE FOR ME. DOES ANYONE HERE KNOWS ANOTHER OPTIONS? OR CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME OPEN UP A CLOUDFUNDING ACCOUNT. I TRIED TO BUT IT SAYS IT DOESN'T WORK IF IM IN ASIA/DO NOT HAVE A US ACCOUNT. Sad

IM HOPELESS..
MY FAMILY ACCEPTS ME BUT WON'T HELP ME.
THE ONLY PERSON THAT KEEPS ME GOING ON LIVING IS MY FIANCE AND OUR LITTLE GIRL. THEY MEAN A LOT TO ME. IM TORN BETWEEN SUPPORTING THEM AND SAVING UP FOR THE SURGERY.

It sounds like you can't get the surgery covered in Japan, so your best option is probably to continue saving up.

Crowd funding can help, but you really need to have a pre-established network of friends/fans who can help support the campaign. (For most, the time spent setting up a campaign and promoting it would be better spent working on money saving/making strategies.)

Comprehensive Guide to Surgery Fundraising

Saving up for surgery can be tough! The amount needed can seem like an impossible goal, and some people have circumstances that make it a tougher climb. But when your only option is straight ahead, you have to make some tough decisions and push on through. You'll get there!

ps. When you're ready to start looking for a surgeon, you can find a list of surgeons who offer Top Surgery in Thailand here.
